The Australian Youth Aerospace Association (AYAA) is thrilled to announce the Australian Universities Rocket Competition (AURC) 2025, set to take place in April 2025 at the Endeavour Aerospace White Cliffs Launch site. This exciting event invites university teams to showcase their engineering skills by designing, building, and launching high-powered Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solid fuel rockets, aiming for heights of either 10,000 feet or 30,000 feet.
As a not-for-profit organisation managed by dedicated volunteers, the AYAA is committed to promoting the aerospace industry among youth in Australia. “The AURC embodies our mission to enhance education, awareness, and involvement in the aerospace sector. We are excited to support and inspire the next generation of aerospace professionals, fostering their skills as they prepare to enter the burgeoning space workforce.”
Endeavour Aerospace is proud to partner with the Australian Youth Aerospace Association (AYAA) to host the AURC. “Our mission has always been to support and grow amateur and educational rocketry across Australia. We identified the need for more opportunities for amateurs and university teams to showcase their projects on larger stages, challenge themselves, and compete alongside one another. In response, we established a launch facility in White Cliffs, NSW. We look forward to collaborating with the talented team at AYAA to host the largest amateur rocketry competition in Australia—the AURC. “
The Endeavour launch site, set amidst the stunning outback landscape of NSW, accommodates a 30,000-foot launch category alongside 10,000-foot launches.
We’re excited to welcome everyone to White Cliffs in April 2025 and witness the incredible projects come to life.
