Congratulations to all teams on completing an important milestone towards launching at AURC and TDU in April 2019! Results and feedback for the second progress report has been sent out to teams.

The next deliverable is the Technical Report which is due on March 18th. This report will be the culmination of your technical design work and it is worth big points!

Submissions for the second progress report are now open. The second progress report should demonstrate each team is on track to launching at the AURC event. It also provides an opportunity to present major design changes. The task sheet can be found in the Competitor’s documents tab.

The AURC Rules have just been reviewed and updated! Several minor changes have been made to include payload scoring, safety penalties and the total points have been redistributed and increased from 200 to 250. Several other changes not listed here have also been made, so be sure read the updated documents. The changes can be found across these three documents:

The first deliverable of the competition has been marked and feedback has been returned to teams. Overall, the reports were completed to a high quality, and the calibre of the competitors was truly on display with the average mark being a Distinction!

The AURC Committee is excited with this result, and hopes that teams continue their good work for the next milestone of the competition: Progress Report 2 is due on Monday, December 10th 2018!
