Applications to conduct safety reviews of rockets competing in the 2024 Australian Universities Rocket Competition are now open. This is an exciting volunteer opportunity for experienced rocketeers to inspect rocket functionality prior to launch. 

As part of the competition teams of tertiary STEM students will design and build high power rockets to reach a target altitude. Teams are required to pass a safety review before launching their rockets, whereby a level 3 certified high power rocketeer will physically inspect the manufactured rocket to verify the design will function as intended and complies with the AURC rocket specifications document.
